Updates on Christmas Photoshoot

We’re officially 2 weeks into our Christmas photoshoot session. It is safe to say that the responses are beyond expectations! People who came to the studio left such beautiful marks- literally and figuratively.

Did we mention that you also get your photo printed on the day?

We’re also very lucky for The Blackman FamilyNick Molodysky’s Family, and Felica Ang’s Family to be a part of this photoshoot! Shout out to them for creating such amazing (and of course, funny) contents for us. Ah, we really need that laugh after a long day.

THE BLACKMAN FAMILY

If you’re particularly active on facebook and instagram, you definitely have seen their videos. Funny and relatable videos that described everyday life at home with 2 kids. Guess what, those videos are probably not just a skit, because that’s how fun they are in real life too!

Hats off to Jeraldine Blackman for being a mum of 2 kids (Nimo and Jette), and a full-time content creator! After exchanging stories, we realised that it’s definitely not an easy job. Josh told us that many people underestimated this task and would say “Oh, so you just make videos?”, but it goes beyond that.
It’s weeks of planning contents ahead, making scripts for everyone in the family, recording them, editing multiple videos, posting it on time. Oh dear. Jeraldine came to our studio knowing exactly what contents she was going to make. She’s efficient, quick, and really smart too!

Anyway, thank you so much for coming, The Blackman Family, and enjoy your loonggg holiday!

Okay, we’re on a serious mode now.

MASAK2DENGANNICK

Do you like Indonesian food?
Have you always wondered where to shop for a particular South East Asian vegetable in Sydney?
Nick Molodysky has all the answers. Watch his videos where he takes you to asian supermarkets and tells you how to call them in English. Or, let him show you how to cook Nasi Goreng. Surprise surprise, he is NOT INDONESIAN and has never lived in Indonesia either. But his skill in speaking Bahasa Indonesia? 10/10, it’s giving born and raised in Indonesia.

Nick, Karina, and their 3 girls- Zoey, Hazel, and Phoebe were a delight to work with! They’re humble, funny, and has plenty of stories to share. We shared our love for food, and it turned out that we even have some mutual friends. Interesting!

Of course, we had to ask Nick “How did you get so fluent in Indonesian and how long did it take you to learn?”.
Well, Nick mentioned that there was a time where he only knew 1 Indonesian sentence for years. Later on, he started talking to Karina (his then penpal, now wife. so cuteeeee), took Indonesian in University, and here we are today. Apparently, it took 15 years.

Woah, we’re constantly surprised by how amazing everyone is. Their dedication and hard work is not something that we will take for granted.

Wait, was Phoebe trying to pull Zoey’s hair?

FELICA ANG

A fellow food enthusiast, a friend, a mum, a content creator- that’s how we would describe Felica! Their photoshoot session was filled with joy and laughters. Ashley (Felica’s daughter) was particularly enjoying her first Christmas photoshoot with mum & dad. Ashley wanted to be a princess, so she decided to wear mummy’s heels. It’s a little bit too big at the moment, but she’ll get there.

Ashley dear, are you sure that’s your shoe size?

Besides being really good at playing princess, Ashley also enjoyed dancing to soundtracks from Sing! At a really young age, she seemed to have a very good taste in music and arts. So, dear Felica, Jhon, and Ashley. Set it All Free and Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing (pun intended).

For everyone who already came, THANK YOU! For those still interested in coming, we’ve recently extended the shoot due to popular demand.

Bookings open until Dec 15.
