How to Naturally Pose on Your Wedding Day

“Hey, just a heads up, as much as we’re exciting for our wedding day, we’re not much of a poser”
- Famous last words

Aren’t we all? Being the centre of attention is not for everyone- unless you’re John Krasinski being crowned as the Sexiest Man Alive 2024 hehe 😚 We know you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and now you have to worry about looking good in front of the camera. Listen, your feeling is valid.

However, that’s why we are here! Your wedding day will be so seamless, to the point that you don’t even have to worry about posing. Here’s more, we asked big boss Deff for his advice regarding this issue, and he’s been so incredibly kind and generous to enlighten us with some of his favourite tricks:

(Yes, he should be the one writing this blog but he bailed 👹)

  1. You don’t have to look at the camera all the time

Laugh, talk to you guests, start walking, start running 🏃💨 we don’t care. It’ll turn out fantastic if you just let the day flows naturally. Drink that champagne and sing your heart out on the dance floor.

2. Focus on your partner

The big day is for the two of you, so look at each other, show your love, and think about how far you’ve come. If you bond through humour, laugh away! If you prefer a quiet affection, you can hold hands and make other small gestures. The photographer will be able to capture all those sweet moments.

3. Book a pre-wedding session

Think of it as a warm-up before the big race. A pre-wedding session can help you break the ice, plus you can get to know the photographer / videographer beforehand. If you aced this, you’ll know exactly what to do on your wedding.

4. Just be yourself

As cliché as it sounds, it’s true. What’s the point of sucking in your stomach and trying to make sure your hair looks perfect in every photo but you end up suffering throughout the day? 😣 We’re here to capture genuine moments, and we really hope you feel comfortable on one of the most important days of your life.

Simple, right? Hope it helps, ciao~ See you in our next blog!
